Install Salamander Reservoirs above the bottom condensate relief valve of a low point drain (auxiliary drain / drum drip) to detect the first ounces of condensation accumulation and after the dry pipe valve to detect compromises earlier in the system.

When condensation accumulation is detected, the Salamander Solution sends alert notifications (via sms and email) to the designated parties. Notifications continue until the issue(s) have been resolved.

The Salamander Reservoir

The patented Salamander Reservoir is designed to integrated with your new or existing dry life safety fire sprinkler systems.

The Salamander Reservoir’s water detection probe and notification system wirelessly alerts to the presence of accumulated condensation in low point drains (auxiliary drains / drum drips) so that they can be purged in time before failure can occur.

USING THE RIGHT DATA

Low point drains (auxiliary drains / drum drips) are designed to collect moisture and be installed in freeze-prone areas.

However, they need to be purged before pipe freeze occurs from both of those conditions existing at the same time.

Salamander Reservoirs are designed to be installed above the condensate relief valve of a low point drain (auxiliary drain / drum drip) to alert to the first amounts of moisture accumulation (~2 oz / 59mL) and after the dry pipe valve to detect any compromises earlier in the system.
