Did you know... Alexander Graham Bell edition

145 years ago in 1880, on this date, Alexander Graham Bell transmitted the first wireless telephone message using his Photophone (not the famous "come here Watson") call. Bell was a polymath known for the telephone, but also pioneered the a metal detection device (which he tried to use to save President Garfield from an infection caused by an assassin's bullet). However, Bell wanted to be remembered for his work to serve the deaf community and famously connected Annie Sullivan to Helen Keller. We salute you and thank you for your achievements!
