STEP #1

ALERT WHEN LOW WATER TEMPERATURES DETECTED

When water temperatures within a wet fire sprinkler system are detected below the danger temperature threshold ( ≤48°F / ≤9°C) , The Salamander Solution sends alert notifications (via sms and email) to the designated parties. Notifications continue until the issue(s) have been resolved.

STEP #2 (optional)

INITIALIZE LOCAL HEATING TO PROTECT THE WATER

In this optional integration, the Salamander Solution initializes local heat source(s) to protect the water within the pipe in the designated area(s) from further lowering temperatures and/or pipe freeze.

STEP #3

SYSTEM RESTORED WATER IS OK, HEATING IS OFF

Once the water temperature is higher than the danger temperature threshold (≥49°F / ≥9.4°C), the local heat source(s) are turned off and the system is restored.

The patented Salamander Reservoir is designed to integrated with your new or existing wet life safety fire sprinkler systems. This way, our temperature probe is continuously monitoring the real time temperature from within your system because pipes freeze when water freezes.

In the event conditions within your system are at or below the danger temperature threshold (≤48°F / ≤9°C) The Salamander Solution alerts wirelessly to this compromise so that it can be remedied before failure can occur.
